The Talent

For over 21 years we've developed a bit of a reputation. That is, a reputation for nurturing and housing the best creative talent on the South Coast and we can honestly say our current team fits into that category perfectly.

  • Simon Heron

The 'Governor' Simon set up the business in 1990. A Self-confessed MAMIL (middle-aged man in lycra) Simon's aprés-cycle cool down is probably the most traumatic part of the studio's day, as he does insist
on a cool down period while wearing the
    aforementioned regalia.

Enthusiastic, full of ideas, and loving the latest trends in design and technology, he keeps his 'hands oily' (figuratively speaking) by doing most of the studio's photography. That's when he's not 'Blue Sky' thinking about clients' Brandscapes!

  • Diana Scott

Di is the Miss Money Penny of the team and for those of you who don't know, she is the original "suit" and one of the founding partners of 3 Men.

Although part time she still has her finger firmly on the button and her eye on the numbers.

Tough but fair, she's not a girl to mess with when it comes to the accounts.

She loves sun, sea, sand, all things wild and of
course clients that pay their bills on time.

  • Matthew Barge

Having worked at 3 Men for over thirteen years Matthew has become an invaluable part of the team - if only for getting things down from high shelves. His qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design, a 25m swimming badge, a cycling proficiency certificate and membership of Rolf's Cartoon Club.

Though not as yet on either Facebook or Twitter, he does have one other minor web presence (that he's aware of), appearing in a photo from the mid eighties. If you ask nicely he might even tell you which one he is.

    Email Matthew Barge at matthew.b@3men.co.uk
  • Brook Fabian

Yes, Brook Fabian is his real name! It's also the main reason that 3 Men hired him shortly after he graduated from Bath Spa University College with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design. Luckily for him he is still here nine years on. Brook likes to get involved in as many aspects of the design process as he can. He is also the other half of 3 Men's photographic and more recently film department and as far as he knows has sold the most pictures on The Alamy Photolibrary between him and Simon. Other things he is interested in are swimming in the sea, ice cold Mexican beer and Will Ferrell films.

    Email Brook Fabian at brook.f@3men.co.uk
  • Caroline Rupik

Caroline is our woman with a plan - the Studio plan. She’s also our resident expert on all things print and can often be found muttering FSC regulations in her sleep.

She has a BA in English Literature & Cultural Studies in Human Geography, and an MA in Media & Cultural Studies. And if you buy her a drink she'll even tell you what that means.

Loves: her baby son, playing guitar, gastro porn, books, film, travel. Not so much love: Simon’s lycra.

  • Peter Wilkinson

As a fully qualified Photoshop negotiator, Pete spends most of his days cursing Adobe and lamenting the effect they've had on his hairline. Since graduating from his BA (Hons) Digital Media degree course, he's made it his personal crusade to drive forward any web work 3 Men produce and get the best for their clients in an organised and efficient manner.

  • Philip Moore

    01100010011010010110111001100001011100100

Only kidding! He doesn't really know how to write in binary, but i he does know his way around HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery), PHP and MySQL. Some would consider that the perfect arsenal to build brilliant websites!

If he's not furiously tapping away at a keyboard he likes to slide down snowy mountains at silly speeds. Otherwise he'll settle with his feet up, a cup of tea and a chocolate hob-nob (The SAS of the biscuit world).

    Email Philip Moore at phil.m@3men.co.uk
  • Stephanie Andrews

Stephanie was born and raised in the West Midlands and famously has a cat who was brought from Robert Plant's Sister. Stephanie moved to Southampton in 2006 where she attended Southampton Solent University and achieved a BA (Hons) degree in Graphic Design. Stephanie joined 3 Men in 2010 as a Design Intern and worked her way up to become Studio Manager/Designer - not bad hey?? She gets the mickey taken out of her in the studio as she genuinely loves Steps (5,6,7,8) and hates everything to do with fish. She has a lot to learn! She's obsessed by other people's birthdays & has her very own published book.

    Email Stephanie Andrews at stephanie.a@3men.co.uk
  • Dan Benham

Dan is a well educated person with excellent table manners. He has been awarded a Fellowship to the Royal Society of Arts for displaying a "good social conscience" in his work. He likes drinking tea, eating gummy sweets and listening to Post New Wave Space Math Folk Rap Dance music. When he grows up he wants to be an astronaut.

    Email Dan Benham at dan.b@3men.co.uk
  • Louise Steel

Louise has been a proper (read: old school, grammar-picky) copywriter for over 20 years. She's tasked with making companies and their products and services sound amazing online and in print, press and social media. She has an MA in Creative Writing from Southampton University and writes fiction in the middle of the night. She lives by the motto 'never say 'no' to anything', which often gets her into trouble, but gives her plenty to write about. When she isn't writing, she'll be enjoying good books, wines, films, heels and bright red.

    Email Louise Steel at louise.s@3men.co.uk
  • Alex Warren

Our own one man SWOT* Team & Suit! Alex is the man to bringing financial genius and strategic input to the team. Alex is particularly fond of his energy efficient oversized calculator and producing results on it that often mystify the rest of the team!

A keen marathon runner, cricketer and chess (yes chess) player his two children Archie and Orla are the most important things in his life (apart from maybe his calculator!).

    *Strengths, Weakness, Opportunity, Threats

  • Louise Etheridge

3 Men only accept copywriters if they are called Louise. This Louise likes words and has a thing about palindromes. Her favourite one is "I roamed under it as a tired, nude Maori" as it raises more questions than it answers.

Louise has a useless degree (Latin) from Edinburgh University, used to write for posh national newspapers but prefers writing shiny, happy words for shiny, happy clients. She also writes comedy, admires rodents and is an award-winning storyteller.

  • Mobin Zadeh Kochak

Although still at university studing Webdesign, Mobin is an active member of 3 Men working along side Phil as a web developer using the latest technologies such as HTML 5, CSS 3, AJAX (jQuery), PHP 5+, MySQL and so on. Mobin also participates in 3 Men's meetings which are held to improve and expand the ideas on products.

Developing applications for iOS devices is Mobin's other excellence. One of the remarkable achievements throughout the past year has been a Persian - English dictionary which has also gained the Award of the best iOS application from Iranian Web Festival (2012).
