HCC's tarantulas star at the New Forest Show!
26 August 2009
It was all about interaction at this year’s New Forest Show and when we were asked to come up with dynamic imagery and signage for Hampshire County Council’s amazing stand, we knew our job was to get everyone in on their act.
So, we took a bright and very colourful mix of clever graphics and ingenious design applied it to the full range of HCC’s services, from Museums to Children and Human Resources and brought them all together under one enormous roof.
The result was just what the Council ordered: ‘Fantastic!' said Amber Wilson, Marketing Communications Officer at HCC. 'It made for a vibrant experience to entice people onto the stand - the colours were great and worked really well together, thank you!'
The bright, informative stand complete with cowboys, tarantula spiders and, err, sheep was certainly exciting enough to bring hundreds of visitors into the stand to engage and interact with a multitude of enlightening activities laid on by HCC.
But the striking HCC road show doesn’t end there. The stand is heading straight for the Romsey Show on Saturday 12th September at Broadlands Park where more activities including sculpture displays, kids’ crafts and an interactive milking cow look set to engage with a whole new audience.
