[SALON SUPPLIES - OFFERS SHEET RE-DESIGN]
Salon Supplies is one of the UK's largest distributors of hairdressing and beauty products operating several cash and carry warehouses and delivering to salons across the South of England. As a major part of our work to develop the Salon Supplies brand we have produced the ‘Offers Sheet’, a quarterly publication promoting special offers, showcasing their product range and ultimately aiming to increase sales.
Historically produced at ‘cheap and cheerful’ printers the document was in need of a complete rethink in order to maximise its sales potential, so Marketing Manager Ian Aherne decided to invest more budget into the design and print.
Our solution took the Offers Sheet from being a low budget leaflet to a funky, dynamic and sexy magazine giving Salon Supplies an invaluable marketing tool essential in the fiercely competitive and fashion conscious hair and beauty industry.
According to Ian the new offers sheets have proved to be extremely effective:
“In terms of customer and sales representative feedback we have been overwhelmed with positive comments. Clients report the new design to be easier to read, more professional and higher quality while our representatives now consider our offer sheet to be the best they see ‘on the road’. This gives us a real competitive advantage over our trading rivals.”
“Suppliers now take an active interest in featuring in the sheet and we often have a waiting list for new products and offers to be featured. Part of this reason is because the sales out of featured products can increase enormously and we have experienced increases of 100-200% on individual featured products, compared to simple line entries on the old sheet.”
“The month we launched the new offer sheet saw the highest turnover month of the year with sales out increasing by 15% we have also been able to increase turnover in traditionally ‘quiet’ months with strong offer sheet offers and we have experienced turnover increases in some lines of over 35%.”
