Web Designer

Our multi-disciplined team combine business experience, creative design and internet technology to build successful eCommerce solutions. We are always interested to hear from enthusiastic, talented and technically astute people who enjoy working with new technologies, on interesting and challenging Internet projects.

You should have: at least 3-4 years of experience in web design, preferably 2+ years on eCommerce projects, agency experience, hold a degree and have the ability to create and implement unique, engaging, and intuitive designs to meet client requirements.

Your role will cover all aspects of web design and parts of the development process. This will include creating concepts from scratch, implementing designs with due attention to coding standards, accessibility and usability issues, creating front-end designs for new functionality and concepts for sites, working with clients and suppliers on content matters and executing on-line and off-line marketing campaigns. You will also ensure that all sites and campaigns are delivered to meet and exceed customer expectations against tight timelines and within budgets. You will also work on in-house projects ranging from internet, intranet, print and email projects.

Skills:
• Excellent creative design skills - ability to create and implement attractive and effective designs
• Excellent design sense for use of layout, typography and colour palettes and ability to communicate reasons for choices
• Full Set of Web Design skills, including HTML, XHTML, CSS2, PHP
• Hand-coding ability and High proficiency in Dreamweaver, Flash
• Working knowledge of cross-browser, usability and accessibility principles
• Some knowledge of: Javascript, dHTML, ActionScript, Basic ASP, ASP.net/VB.net, XML
• Excellent communications skills, client interaction skills, time estimation and time management
• Portfolio of work (including eCommerce sites), urls and role played essential
