This booklet for the Home Office offers information and guidance for people affected when children are taken into police protection and was supplied to every police station in the UK.
Split in to four detachable sections (people aged 7 – 10, people aged 11 – 16, parents & guardians and carers) the aim was to create a friendly overall feel while maintaining an appropriate tone of voice and visual language for the information in each section. As well as designing the booklet
3 Men commissioned and art directed these modern, friendly illustrations for the sections aimed at young people in order to help humanise the relationship between the child and the police officer and to make the information as engaging and non threatening as possible.
