Inspire Enterprise Academy have a truly innovative approach to educating 14-19 year olds. By combining engaging project-based learning and business experiences, with high academic achievement, they strive to equip students with a diverse range of skills. They put the individual student, their needs, interests and career aspirations at the centre of their personalised learning programme. Pretty cool right? So, when they asked us to do a complete brand relaunch and rollout we were like; Err, yes please!
Our first job was to create a new name and logo for their organisation; something that truly represents what they stand for and how they affect their students' lives. Their old name and logo was just a bit 'meh', it had no reflection of the dynamic, vibrant and exciting institution that we were getting to know and love. So, we came up with this...
Then we worked with Inspire to create a rich, vibrant and versatile bransdcape to transform all aspects of their communications, everything, right down to their student ties!.
A massive part of our job has been to not only design and implement their new visual identity but also to create and manage their strategic media campaigns to raise awareness and drive new applications. We created this funky flip book direct mailer to target local households who we identified as their target demographic.
We have produced vibrant and engaging campaings for billboard, retail, bus, ferry and radio in and around Southampton integrated with social media and supported by targetted direct mail.
Our latest experiencial and social campaign in West Quay shopping centre was out of this world! On the busy Easter Bank Holiday Friday shoppers were greeted at the doors by Buzz the astronaut and a troop of enthusiastic teenagers from Inspire. School-age passers by were encouraged to snap a selfie with Buzz and post it on Twitter, Facebook or Instragram to win a feast for 4 at the very trendy Sprinkles Gilato. They were also given our funky flip book mailer and were able to chat about their ideas, goals and career aspirations. Apart from the obvious attention and awareness that Buzz generated the competition was also a great social media success provoking a big spike in enquiries, quite a few of which were converted to applications.
This is stage one of Inspire's new website; a sunny, single page responsive site featuring all the key info and online application forms. Stage two is under way and should be ready for lift off soon! See more at inspiresouthampton.co.uk
